TriAngles is a high precision 3D circumference scanner that uses a turn table to look "around" the object being scanned. Making a 360 degrees turn around the object means that it captures most of the object in a single pass. This minimizes the need to stitch several seperate scans together as found with most other types of scaners. Once captured you can then view, modify and store the 3D data on you PC. The data can be exported to graphics and CAD applications for further post processing.

What can I scan?
If your laser or projection device can
illuminated it with a thin line and your
camera can capture this then there is a solid
chance that TriAngles can scan it in. And,
TriAngles
includes many features to make the process as
easy as possible while still allowing advanced
users to set things the way they want.
The laser line projected by the laser on the
object is captured by the camera while the
turntable rotates to allow capturing the full
360 degrees. The camera image is processed by
the TriAngles software to create a virtual
representation of the object.
The process
1. Orginal object
2. Scan is made of the geometry of the object
3. A high resolution scan is made of the texture or color of the object
4. The texture and the geometry scans are combined and shaded
